At 19:00 on Friday the 19th October 2012, Depot presented How non-members see the EU.
About the debate:
Is the European Union still attractive for its potential candidate countries? During a recent visit to the Kremlin, the Prime Minister of Turkey – a country which has been in negotiations for admission to the EU since 2005 – joked about forgetting the EU if his country were to be accepted by a rival organisation in Asia. Meanwhile, the Swiss electorate has already voiced its opposition to EU membership in not one, but two referenda.
