Mirela Travar is an activist, trainer and facilitator.
Actively engaged in civil society for the last ten years, she started her working life in human rights and this remains her main area of interest. Internationally, she has worked with the OSCE and the Council of Europe. In Croatia, she was the secretary general of the Croatian Youth Network – the national youth council of Croatia – before later dedicating her time to independent culture. Over the years she has volunteered, trained and worked in the civil society sector and participated in a number of citizenship initiatives and movements. Her main focuses today are participative management, public policies, human rights and independent culture.
