Lina Khatib is a research associate at the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies, a senior research associate with the Arab Reform Initiative, a former director of the Carnegie Middle East Centre in Beirut and a co-editor of the Middle East Journal of Culture and Communication. Lina Khatib is also the author of many books, most notably Image Politics in the Middle East: The Role of the Visual in Political Struggle (2013).
