Filip Jovanovski is a visual artist and civil activist.
He often uses a curatorial approach in his works, and creates socially engaged projects, often working with local communities. In 2016, he realised a long-term project called CAC (Centre for Art and Culture) TEXTILE in Štip, where he and textile workers created a two week long programme designed for their needs.
Filip has participated in several solo and group exhibitions. And, since 2007, he has been the artistic director of the Festival for Contemporary Arts AKTO in Bitola.
