Damir Arsenijević is an associate professor in critical theory and literature at the University of Tuzla and one of the founding member of the Workers’ University of Tuzla platform, which emerged in the course of the February 2014 protests in Bosnia and Herzogovina.
Damir develops and carries out collaborative interventions which intersect academia, activism and the arts. Through such interventions, he tackles the following areas: how to dismantle governance through poverty, how to build emancipatory ways of dealing with the trauma and remembrance of war and genocide and how to sustain solidary networks by fiercely defending the commons.
