Alena Chudžíková, born 1984, holds degrees from the Department of Psychology at Trnava University and from the School of Life Sciences at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England. In studying social psychology she focused on issues such as prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination. She has been intrigued by the socio-cultural and psychological adaptation of migrants from Central Europe who live and work in Great Britain. As a research assistant she took part in an international research project focusing on the cultural dimensions of individualism and collectivism amongst migrants in Great Britain. Alena Chudžíková has also been employed by the Centre for the Research of Ethnicity and Culture since September 2009.
