Alexander Sivilov is an associate professor and historian who teaches the history of the USSR and international relations at the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia.
Alexander researches the ties between Russia/the USSR and Latin America and East Asia and previously taught in the Faculty of History at the M. Lomonosov State University of Moscow, the Department of Political Sciences at the Loyola University of Chicago and the Department of Political Science at the Meiji University of Tokyo. He has a special interest in the radical left in the period from 1917 through to the end of the Cold War.
