Klementyna Suchanow is an editor, translator, author and political activist.
She is the author of several non-fiction books about Witold Gombrowicz and was one of the organisers of October 2016’s Polish women’s strikes. Known as the Black Protests, these strikes stopped the PiS government from introducing new, even more stringent abortion laws and helped give Polish women a voice. Klementyna was also the main coordinator of the International Women’s Strike on the 8th of March 2017.
