Stefan Krastev has a B.A. in ethnology from Sofia University and an M.A. in sociology and social anthropology from the Central European University. He has worked on themes including ethnic minorities, racism, urban marginality, illegality and squatting. Currently, Stefan is doing a PhD in sociology at the University of Sofia, for which he is researching the processes of everyday financialisation and the spread of new forms of personal credits in Eastern Europe. Stefan also manages the Political and Social Debates Programme at The Red House Centre for Culture and Debate in Sofia, Bulgaria.
