Ludwika Włodek is a political scientist and sociologist, who works as a lecturer at the University of Warsaw’s Centre for East European Studies. She is an expert on Central Asia and the post-Soviet region and focuses especially on political culture and questions relating to nationality. Ludwika is also active as a reporter and columnist (amongst others for Gazeta Wyborcza) and the author of the books Pra. O rodzinie Iwaszkiewiczów [Pra.The Iwaszkiewicz Family] (2012) and, most recently, Wystarczy przejść przez rzekę [Crossing the River will suffice] (2014).
